“Accept all” enables preferences and Analytics. “Reject optional” and “Essential only” leave both off. “Customize” lets you control them separately. Earlier privacy choices, made before Analytics was added, do not enable Analytics; we ask again. The calculator and research pages work without optional storage.

Local storage is stored in your browser rather than sent automatically with each request like a cookie. It remains until cleared or overwritten. Turning optional preference storage off keeps existing saved calculations on this device but prevents the site from reading or updating them. It does not reset your selected color theme. You can delete saved calculations while preferences are enabled or clear this site’s browser data.
Your selected theme persists across page changes, refreshes and later visits without enabling Analytics or saved calculations. Select System to follow your device’s appearance setting. Current calculator inputs are not saved unless you explicitly save them with optional preferences enabled. If browser storage is unavailable, the calculator remains usable; the theme and privacy choices apply only to the current page.
Optional Google Analytics
On peptidelit.com, Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-Y61K26VVBN) helps us understand page visits, engagement and use of the calculator, help, learning, research and donation links. The Google tag loads only after you enable Analytics. Local development and preview sites do not send Analytics events.
Google processes technical information about the browser and device and uses browser identifiers to distinguish visits. Page addresses and titles identify public content viewed, including compound guides. Our page-view configuration removes query parameters and fragments and keeps only the referring website’s origin. Our custom engagement events contain only the action name: calculator amounts, dropdown selections, saved calculations and free text are not included. A donation-link event measures a link opened, not a completed donation.
Analytics uses the first-party cookies _ga and _ga_Y61K26VVBN. Their configured expiration is 90 days, refreshed by Analytics activity. Turning Analytics off stops collection by this tag and deletes these cookies from this site. It does not delete information already received by Google. You can change your choice through Cookie settings in the footer.

Research requests and external links
The research feed requests publication records through this site’s server. Calculator entries are not submitted to that feed. The server retrieves literature records from the US National Library of Medicine. Search and filter controls operate on the returned records in your browser.
Research and donation links take you to independent services such as PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov, Venmo, or Cash App. Those services apply their own privacy policies when you visit them. Donation QR codes and page images are hosted as local site assets; the site does not embed a payment widget.
Hosting and changes
Hosting providers may process technical request information such as IP addresses to serve and protect the site. This website is publicly accessible and hosted on Cloudflare. The hosting provider may use security or infrastructure cookies outside the application’s storage controls; sign-in may be used if access settings change. Browser-storage controls do not control those server operations. This page describes the current application. Changes to Analytics, an account system or hosting security features will be reflected in this disclosure.
